The friendliness of the staff was excellent and they were very professional and efficient whilst staying chatty and friendly. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have eaten in a hotel dining room for many a year. Especially the fried egg was in a class of its own. I will go out of my way to visit Youghal again just to have another stay at this fantastic gem of a hotel.
RThere was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

The best thing about our stay was the staff. All were very friendly, helpful and professional.
Rooms were a bit shabby (carpet and bedspread stained). Bathroom dated, but clean. Would have liked a shower that wasn't fixed to the wall, it wasn't adjustable.

the staff were nice and friendly the location was what i had expected but when you book a double room you would like a double bed not two singles pushed together

The food in the hotel restaurant and bar was excellent. Our room was huge and very comfortable, clean towels supplied every day.
No brown bread included in the breakfast choice.

I liked this hotel. It was clean and tidy, the food was good (I had dinner and breakfast) and they brought dinner to my room for no extra charge. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly.

The room was clean and well serviced
The heating was swiched off in the room and the windows were open, it was about 2 degres below outside and it felt the same in the room. There was no one service at the reception to report my complaint to.The breakfast was served an hour late and there was only one staff member cleaning, cooking breakfast and dealing with people who were leaving the hotel. it took 40 minets for my beakfast to be served, so my coffee went cold waiting for the breakfast and there was no around to get a hot cup so i just left the hotel and i was not one bit impressed with the hotel.

Youghal would have to be our favourite town and place in Ireland with much to occupy us. We had a fabulous big room/ensuite, very clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at the Imperial both nights it was so good. Now a warning about Budget rent a car. Check the terms and conditions very very very carefully before hiring from Budget rent a car and if you do, be prepared for extras. Check the car carefully before taking possession and dip the fuel tank. We have never encountered a car hire firm like them, they have certainly been the most exspensive.

Staff were lovely and helpful and the bar food was very good
We were given a room that had a terrible smell which seemed to be coming from the carpets which were badly stained and the shades did not work on the velux windows so it was bright from 5.30am. We did not mention the smell as the hotel was full and the staff were so nice but I probably would not go back there

I like staying at the Imperial ,because it is situtated right in the centre of Youghal. We had a lovely meal there and the staff were very helpful and we would highly recommend the restaurant.. Plenty of parking space and an out door smoking area (covered)
Hi one or two small things .The hairdryer was not working, we did request and got another one.the lamps beside our bed was not working, though they were plugged in ,it was only when we were leaving I discovered they were plugged into an extension lead that was not plugged in,
